What is PingSafe?

PingSafe is a smartwatch using smart sensor technology that can be worn on the wrist. The PingSafe device enables parents to stay in touch with voice calls, and monitor essential daily vitals including heart rate, motion tracking, body temperature, blood pressure and blood oxygen (fatigue).
Who can use PingSafe?
Answer :
PingSafe was initially created for children with additional needs, and their siblings, between the ages of 5 and 12. PingSafe gives their parents vital information which may assist in managing daily behavioral challenges. PingSafe is perfect for any parent who wants to keep their children safe and be informed about their overall daily well-being.
Is PingSafe secure?
Answer :
The information displayed on your device is only accessible to you. We do not have access to your saved information and all communication is private. All data is stored and encrypted on our AWS servers with no third party access.
Does PingSafe require a SIM card?
Answer :
The PingSafe will measure daily vitals without the need for a SIM card. If you require the use of the voice call feature, then yes a 4G LTE nano-SIM card will be required.
Does PingSafe work in other countries?
Answer :
Yes. Our 4G full network covers most countries all over the world. If the device has a 4G LTE nano-SIM enabled and loaded with call minutes or credit, it will work.
What is the warranty on my PingSafe device?
PingSafe Pty Ltd warrants PingSafe for one year and in-box accessories for one year against defects in materials and workmanship commencing from the date of retail purchase. PingSafe accessories purchased separately are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for six months from the original date of purchase. PingSafe's express warranty is subject to certain exclusions, as set out in the warranty. For example, PingSafe does not warrant the PingSafe watch or accessories for normal wear and tear, nor damage caused by accident or abuse. Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For major failures with the service, you are entitled: • to cancel your service contract with us; and • to a refund for the unused portion, or to compensation for its reduced value. You are also entitled to choose a refund or replacement for major failures with goods. If a failure with the goods or a service does not amount to a major failure, you are entitled to have the failure rectified in a reasonable time. If this is not done, you are entitled to a refund for the goods and to cancel the contract for the service and obtain a refund of any unused portion. You are also entitled to be compensated for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage from a failure in the goods or service. PingSafe’s warranty on the watch and its accessories contains additional relevant provisions, including concerning how to make a warranty claim.
